While IT Sales Support does currently relay Atlas/ASRA updates when prompted by emails/tickets, there is currently no notification to users when release notes are added for Atlas, and no section to read notes on for ASRA updates. Solution we currently offer is reactive, instead of proactive.
Ashley Downs to investigate further and see if Beemer is a better tool than separate google sites and docs.
This enhancement request was discussed during 12/3/21 Internal Apps Demo. Would be a joint effort between Atlas and BI Team.
Solution Possibility:
Create an "Updates" page with a section for both release notes, and currently known defects, with notification when new updates are added
Section for ASRA updates - including page updates, report changes, etc.
Section for Atlas updates - this would replace "release notes" page
Known defects section would allow Atlas/BI team to notify users of outages/issues, any workarounds, and when solutions are released
This would also assist Sales Support/IT Sales Support, as RMs would be more aware of outstanding issues before calling/emailing for assistance
