American Express is making two MCC eligible for the OptBlue program.
American Express will be removing MCC 4814 (Telecommunication Services) from the prohibited MCC list and make it eligible for OptBlue. This MCC will be added to the ‘Other’ industry category.
American Express will be removing MCC’s 6540 and 5552 from the prohibited MCC list and make them eligible for OptBlue. These MCC will be added to the ‘Services and Professional Services’ industry category. This change was announced as part of the October 2021 release, and Jville team made the change.
